The GSAS Harvard Biotechnology Club presents Career Fair 2007 at Harvard Medical School. This year's fair will consist of a mix of biotech, pharmaceutical, patent law, consulting companies and startups looking to hire PhDs and Post Docs with experience in medical and biological research. Company representatives will be in the New Research Building Rotunda from 1pm-5pm. In addition there will be a series of 20min presentations during the afternoon. At 4pm executive recruiter Pearl Freier will moderate a panel discussion with representatives from career fair exhibiting companies discussing growth opportunities in the industry, employers' perspectives on what makes an attractive candidate, and suggestions for transitioning from academia to industry.
