Join us for the 2023 Harvard Biotech Club Career Fair!

Held annually in October, the career fair is for anyone seeking a job in various science-related sectors. This event places specific emphasis on assisting students, graduate students, medical students, and postdoctoral fellows in finding jobs. While the fair is run by the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club, it is free to attend and is open to all Boston and Cambridge educational institutions and the entire broader community as a whole. Companies can register to attend the Career Fair and may purchase sponsorship packages for greater visibility and enhanced recruiting support.

10:00 - 11:00 am: Fireside chat: Dr. Mathai Mammen, MD, PhD (Chairman and CEO, FogPharma & Former Executive Vice President, Pharmaceuticals, R&D, Johnson & Johnson)

11:00 – 11:30 am: Non-Profit Presentation: Association for Women in Science (AWIS), Massachusetts (Boston) Chapter

2:00 – 2:45 pm: Panel discussion | Beyond the Bench: Alternative Career Paths for Scientists

Join our chat with industry experts who will share perspectives from their career paths with potential topics including business development and negotiating collaborations, entrepreneurship and startups, funding and venture capital, clinical trial innovation, clinical development, bioinformatics, product ideation,  licensing, technology transfer, alliance management, technology assessment,  commercialization strategy, senior management, and intellectual property.  Discussion will also include interviewing suggestions and advice for transitioning from academia to industry.
