Held annually in the fall, the career fair is for anyone seeking a job in various science-related sectors. This event places specific emphasis on assisting students, graduate students, medical students, and postdoctoral fellows in finding jobs. Join us for the company tables or the various panels and guest speakers scheduled throughout the event. While the fair is run by the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club, it is free to attend and is open to all Boston and Cambridge educational institutions and the entire broader community as a whole. Companies can register to attend the Career Fair and may purchase sponsorship packages for greater visibility and enhanced recruiting support.

2024 Panel Discussion
Join our chat to hear career insights from leaders at AbbVie Ventures, Eli Lilly, and Generate Biomedicines during this panel discussion followed by Q&A with the audience Generate Biomedicines is a clinical stage therapeutics company leveraging generative biology to create breakthrough medicines and has job openings in computational sciences, preclinical discovery and development, protein sciences, and program and portfolio management. AbbVie Ventures is a corporate strategic venture capital arm investing since 2009 in transformational scientific opportunities aligned with their core R&D interests to gain access to next-generation science and to build relationships with scientific leaders. AbbVie Ventures is focused on investing in novel, transformational therapeutics at discovery and pre-clinical stages to address critical needs in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, eye care, and aesthetics. Eli Lilly recently opened the Lilly Seaport Innovation Center (LSC)--an R&D facility in the Boston Seaport to advance Lilly’s efforts in RNA and DNA-based therapies as well as discovering new drug targets to create life-changing medicines across disease states including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegeneration and chronic pain. LSC serves as the central hub for Lilly’s genetic medicines efforts and will accommodate approximately 500 Lilly scientists and researchers, in addition to 200 people from Lilly Gateway Labs’ companies.

Discussion will also include interviewing suggestions and advice for transitioning from academia to industry.
