Fall Patent Law Virtual Course with MoFo
Fall Semester
Join international law firm Morrison Forester (MoFo) for the firm’s annual Fall Patent Law Virtual Course in partnership with Harvard Biotech Club. The six-week course is designed for students, post-docs, and industry members with life sciences backgrounds interested in learning more about intellectual property law. The course offers a combination of lectures and interactive workshops introducing you to IP law, with an emphasis on key life sciences patent issues, technology developments, patent licensing, and company formation. Each session will teach important elements of life sciences law through discussions of court cases and practical examples. You will be introduced to the teaching style followed by U.S. law schools and this course is designed to familiarize you with life in a patent law firm.
Spring Patent Law Virtual Course with Finnegan
Spring Semester
Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garret & Dunner, LLP, one of the largest law firms focused exclusively on the practice of intellectual property (IP) law, is offering a 5-week Patent Law Course in collaboration with the Harvard Biotech Club (Spring 2021). Through a mix of lectures and interactive exercises, attorneys from Finnegan and their guests will guide students and post-docs through the life of a patent in a biotech company and introduce them to a variety of concepts within IP law.
