Timeline: 8 weeks, October to December.
Each module will last 1.5 hours and will be led by industry practitioners, followed by networking opportunities with speakers. Classes are structured so that after 8 weeks, participants will have the knowledge to launch companies out of Harvard upon graduation or later in their careers. Participants will form teams around Harvard innovations, provided by the Harvard Office of Technology Development.
As the course progresses, teams will incorporate various aspects from the modules into their pitch. At the end of eight weeks, students will present their pitches on real Harvard innovations to venture capitalists. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.
Explore is an introductory course. As such, we expect many of our participants will have no previous exposure to biotech industry; we welcome anyone to apply.
